Composite doors have a GRP skin over a solid core. uPVC doors have a reinforced uPVC leaf with panel inserts.
Look and feel
Composite doors have a textured woodgrain finish and a solid feel, so they are often chosen as front doors.
Cost
uPVC doors cost less and suit back doors, side doors and rental properties.
Fire doors
Neither is a fire door unless it is a certified fire doorset.
