Who orders trade aluminium shopfront systems?
Mostly shopfitters, builders and main contractors and architects and specifiers. Typical uses include new and refitted retail units; cafés, restaurants and takeaways; office and showroom frontages.
Shopfronts are priced from elevation drawings. Send dimensioned drawings with door positions and handing and we return a priced schedule.
A new or altered shopfront usually needs planning permission, and shopfronts in conservation areas often have extra design guidance. Check with the council before ordering.
Entrance doors on shops need to suit access and escape. Give us the clear opening and any panic hardware requirement and we confirm the door specification.
If a roller shutter is going in, tell us the box size and position so the framing allows for it.
How should you measure?
Shopfronts are made from dimensioned elevation drawings. Send drawings or a site measure with door positions and handing.
