Terms of supply and website terms
A summary of how we trade. Your quote, order acknowledgement and account terms set out the details for each order.
1. Who you contract with
Orders are placed with S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd, trading as Trade Glazing UK, registered in England and Wales, company number 16932889, registered office Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG.
2. Quotes and prices
Prices on this website are guides only. A quote is valid for the period stated on it. Prices are shown excluding VAT; where VAT applies, it is added at the applicable rate. Delivery is charged as shown on the quote.
3. Orders and made-to-measure goods
Goods are made to the sizes and specification you give us. An order is accepted when we issue an order acknowledgement and you approve it. You are responsible for the accuracy of sizes, handing and specification; please check the acknowledgement carefully. Goods made to your specification cannot be returned or cancelled once production has started, except where they are faulty or not as described.
4. Payment
Payment terms are agreed when your account is opened and stated on your quote. Ownership of goods passes to you when they have been paid for in full.
5. Delivery and risk
Delivery dates are confirmed on the order acknowledgement. If a delay arises we will tell you promptly and agree a new date. Risk passes to you on delivery. Check goods on delivery, note visible damage on the delivery note and tell us promptly about any problem.
6. Faulty goods
If goods are faulty or not as described, tell us as soon as you notice. We will inspect them and, if they are faulty or not as described, repair or replace them or refund the price for them.
7. Consumers
Trade Glazing UK sells to trade customers. If you buy as a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our liability for an order is limited to the price of the goods concerned, and we are not liable for indirect losses or loss of profit. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or our liability for foreseeable loss caused by our breach.
9. Website
Information on this website is general guidance and does not replace professional advice on a specific job. Product images show typical product types.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
