Ordering window and door hardware for jobs in Clwyd
Cylinders are measured from the centre fixing screw to each end. A cylinder that sticks out too far is a security weak point, so get the size right.
Whether a door or window meets PAS 24 depends on the tested combination of door and hardware. Changing parts can affect that, so match like for like on certified products.

Building regulations in Wales
Replace hardware like for like on doors and windows certified to PAS 24, and keep any restrictor on an escape window releasable so the full clear opening is available.
We do not start manufacturing until you have approved the order acknowledgement. It repeats each size, colour and opening direction so you can check it against your survey.
