Trade uPVC casement windows in Powys

Ordering uPVC casement windows for jobs in Powys

Every window on your order is listed separately on the quote with its size, layout, glass and finish, so you can check the whole job line by line before anything is put into production.

Foiled colours and woodgrains are applied to the profile before fabrication, so colour windows are made on the same programme as white ones and arrive with matching cills and trims if you order them together.

Specification at a glance

• Multi-point espagnolette locking with key-locking handle
• 28mm double glazed sealed units as standard, with argon and a low-E inner pane
• Bead-on-sash or bead-on-frame glazing depending on profile
• Friction stays with easy-clean option on side-hung sashes
• Trickle vents fitted in the head of the frame when you specify them

Building regulations in Wales

In Wales the Welsh Government's own Approved Documents apply. Replacement windows must meet the thermal values in Approved Document L (Wales), which differ from England in places, and safety glazing in critical locations is covered by Approved Document N in Wales. Replacing windows is notifiable building work, normally self-certified by an installer registered with a competent person scheme or approved by building control.

Before anything goes into production you get a written order acknowledgement with sizes, finishes and handing for every item. Check it carefully, because made-to-measure items cannot be returned if the sizes were wrong.
