Delivery across Powys
Orders for Powys go out on our mainland routes. The delivery charge and date are shown on your quote, and the date is confirmed when your order is acknowledged.
Building regulations in Wales
In Wales, replacement external doors must meet Approved Document L (Wales), and glass in doors and side panels in critical locations must meet the safety glazing guidance in Approved Document N, usually with toughened or laminated safety glass. Replacing a door that is more than half glazed is notifiable building work, self-certified through a competent person scheme or approved by building control.
Every order is confirmed in writing first. The acknowledgement lists each item exactly as it will be made, so any mistake in a size or handing can be caught before manufacture.

The rules for Wales apply. You can specify aluminium bifold doors to suit, and the performance values are stated on your quote. Your installer or designer remains responsible for compliance and any notification.
How do I get trade prices for Powys?
Request a quote with your sizes and postcode. Trade pricing applies once your account is open.
How many panels should a bifold door have?
That depends on the width and how you want the panels to stack. As a rough guide, each panel is up to about a metre wide; we will suggest a layout when you send the opening size.
Do bifolds fold inward or outward?
Either. Outward folding is more common because it keeps the panels out of the room.
