Double glazed sealed units for Hartley jobs
Sealed units are made to the exact glass size, so the measurement is the size of the unit itself. When replacing a misted unit, measure the old unit once the beads are off.
Glass in critical locations, such as doors, side panels and low-level glazing, must break safely, be robust or be protected; in practice that usually means toughened or laminated glass. Mark those units on your schedule.
- Low-E coated inner pane and argon gas fill
- Manufactured to BS EN 1279
- Spacer colours to match frames
- Made to size in common thicknesses such as 24mm and 28mm
Delivery to Hartley
Deliveries to Hartley are booked once your order is in production. The charge is itemised on the quote and the delivery day is confirmed with you in advance. Postcode districts include DA3.
Getting a price
Give us width by height in millimetres for each item, the quantity, and the finish. We check the schedule and come back with anything that needs clarifying.
Trade pricing is for businesses that buy for their own jobs or clients. Apply for an account online; it takes a few minutes.
Measuring tip
Measure the glass, not the frame: remove the beads and measure the existing unit, or measure the rebate and deduct the glazing clearance. Give width first, then height, and the overall unit thickness.
Hartley is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Kent page for a summary.

Double glazed sealed units in Hartley
Do I need a trade account to order double glazed sealed units for a job in Hartley?
Trade pricing is for business customers with an account. You can apply online and request a quote at the same time.
Do you deliver double glazed sealed units to Hartley?
Yes. We deliver to sites and yards in Hartley, and the delivery charge is shown on your quote before you order.
Can I collect instead of having double glazed sealed units delivered to Hartley?
Orders are delivered rather than collected. If collection would help on a particular job, ask and we will say whether it can be arranged.
Why is my sealed unit misted?
The edge seal has failed and moisture has got between the panes. The unit needs replacing; the frame can usually stay.
