Double glazed sealed units for Stirling jobs
Toughened panes in a unit carry a permanent BS EN 12150 mark. Ask if you need units labelled by window number so the installer can match each unit to its frame.
Overall thickness has to match the frame rebate. A 28mm unit will not go into a frame glazed for 24mm, so check before you order.
- Toughened, laminated, obscure and acoustic glass options
- Low-E coated inner pane and argon gas fill
- Aluminium or warm-edge spacer bars
- Spacer colours to match frames
Delivery to Stirling
Orders for Stirling go out on our mainland routes. The delivery charge and date are shown on your quote, and the date is confirmed when your order is acknowledged. Postcode districts include FK8.
Getting a price
Give us width by height in millimetres for each item, the quantity, and the finish. We check the schedule and come back with anything that needs clarifying.
Trade pricing is for businesses that buy for their own jobs or clients. Apply for an account online; it takes a few minutes.
Measuring tip
Measure the glass, not the frame: remove the beads and measure the existing unit, or measure the rebate and deduct the glazing clearance. Give width first, then height, and the overall unit thickness.
Regulations for jobs in Stirling
In Scotland, glazing in areas where people could collide with it must follow the safety glazing standard in Section 4 of the Technical Handbooks. Safety glass is classified to BS EN 12600.
