Double glazed sealed units for Airdrie jobs
Glass in critical locations, such as doors, side panels and low-level glazing, must break safely, be robust or be protected; in practice that usually means toughened or laminated glass. Mark those units on your schedule.
Overall thickness has to match the frame rebate. A 28mm unit will not go into a frame glazed for 24mm, so check before you order.
- Made to size in common thicknesses such as 24mm and 28mm
- Georgian bars between the panes
- Manufactured to BS EN 1279
- Spacer colours to match frames
Delivery to Airdrie
Deliveries to Airdrie are booked once your order is in production. The charge is itemised on the quote and the delivery day is confirmed with you in advance. Postcode districts include ML6.
Getting a price
Send your sizes as a schedule: one line per item with width, height, quantity and any options. A spreadsheet, a PDF or a clear photo of a handwritten list all work.
Already trading? Apply for a trade account and quote your account on each order so the right pricing is applied.
Measuring tip
Measure the glass, not the frame: remove the beads and measure the existing unit, or measure the rebate and deduct the glazing clearance. Give width first, then height, and the overall unit thickness.
Airdrie is in Scotland, so the building regulations for Scotland apply. See the Lanarkshire page for a summary.
