Ordering aluminium bifold doors for jobs in Argyll and Bute
Flush thresholds give a level transition inside to outside but need a drainage detail outside. Tell us if you need one so the right threshold is supplied.
The opening above a bifold carries the weight, so the lintel must be level and stiff enough. Check this with the builder before the doors arrive.

Delivery across Argyll and Bute
Because Argyll and Bute is outside our standard mainland routes, delivery is quoted separately for each order and confirmed before production starts.
Building regulations in Scotland
In Scotland, replacement doors in a house do not normally need a building warrant, but they must still meet the building standards in the Technical Handbooks, including energy and safety glazing. Check with the local authority for flats, listed buildings and conservation areas.
Before anything goes into production you get a written order acknowledgement with sizes, finishes and handing for every item. Check it carefully, because made-to-measure items cannot be returned if the sizes were wrong.
