Trade uPVC tilt and turn windows in Aberdeen

uPVC tilt and turn windows for Aberdeen jobs

For bedrooms that need an escape window, a tilt and turn sash can give a large clear opening from a single sash. Give us the clear opening you need; the quote shows the clear opening the sash gives, and your installer confirms it meets the escape requirement.

Large sashes are heavy, so we check each size against the hinge rating for the system before confirming your order.

• Multi-point locking around the full sash perimeter
• Double or triple glazed sealed units
• White, colours and woodgrain finishes
• Large sash sizes for escape openings

Measuring tip

Tilt and turn sashes open into the room, so check that blinds, radiators, deep sills and furniture will clear the sash before you confirm the size.

Regulations for jobs in Aberdeen

In Scotland the Building (Scotland) Regulations and the Technical Handbooks apply. Replacing windows in a house does not normally need a building warrant, but the new windows must still meet the building standards, including the energy standards in Section 6 and the safety glazing standard in Section 4. Listed buildings and conservation areas have their own controls, so check with the local authority.
