Trade uPVC sliding sash windows in Longton

uPVC sliding sash windows for Longton jobs

Sliding sash windows are made around the balances, so we size each window individually and choose the balance to suit the sash weight, including any acoustic or toughened glass you specify.

Sashes tilt in for cleaning, which matters on upper floors of flats and terraces where the outside of the glass cannot be reached from a ladder.

• Spiral or constant-force balances sized to sash weight
• Run-through horns or plain sashes
• Georgian and astragal bar patterns
• Twin sashes sliding vertically in a uPVC box frame

Measuring tip

Measure between the stone or brick reveals and from head to cill at several points. Sliding sashes depend on a square opening, so note any lean or out-of-square in the reveals on your schedule.

Longton is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Staffordshire page for a summary.
