uPVC sliding sash windows for Taunton jobs
Most vertical sliders are ordered as straight replacements for timber box sashes. If the originals have horns, glazing bars or a particular meeting-rail height, note it on your schedule and the new windows are made to match.
For listed buildings and conservation areas, the council decides whether uPVC sash windows are acceptable. Check before you order; once made to size, the windows cannot be returned.
- Run-through horns or plain sashes
- Twin sashes sliding vertically in a uPVC box frame
- Sash locks, sash lifts and restrictors
- Georgian and astragal bar patterns
Delivery to Taunton
For Taunton, delivery is to your site, yard or unit. Tell us about any access limits, such as weight restrictions or narrow streets, so the right vehicle is booked. Postcode districts include TA1.
Getting a price
Send your sizes as a schedule: one line per item with width, height, quantity and any options. A spreadsheet, a PDF or a clear photo of a handwritten list all work.
Open a trade account to order at trade prices. We ask for your business details and how you expect to order, and agree terms when the account is set up.
Measuring tip
Measure between the stone or brick reveals and from head to cill at several points. Sliding sashes depend on a square opening, so note any lean or out-of-square in the reveals on your schedule.
Taunton is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Somerset page for a summary.
