Sashes tilt in for cleaning, which matters on upper floors of flats and terraces where the outside of the glass cannot be reached from a ladder.
For listed buildings and conservation areas, the council decides whether uPVC sash windows are acceptable. Check before you order; once made to size, the windows cannot be returned.

Delivery to Strood
Deliveries to Strood are booked once your order is in production. The charge is itemised on the quote and the delivery day is confirmed with you in advance. Postcode districts include ME2.
Getting a price
Send your sizes as a schedule: one line per item with width, height, quantity and any options. A spreadsheet, a PDF or a clear photo of a handwritten list all work.
Trade pricing is for businesses that buy for their own jobs or clients. Apply for an account online; it takes a few minutes.
Measuring tip
Measure between the stone or brick reveals and from head to cill at several points. Sliding sashes depend on a square opening, so note any lean or out-of-square in the reveals on your schedule.
Strood is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Kent page for a summary.
