uPVC sliding sash windows for Carlisle jobs
Sliding sash windows are made around the balances, so we size each window individually and choose the balance to suit the sash weight, including any acoustic or toughened glass you specify.
Sashes tilt in for cleaning, which matters on upper floors of flats and terraces where the outside of the glass cannot be reached from a ladder.
- Spiral or constant-force balances sized to sash weight
- Georgian and astragal bar patterns
- Tilt-in sashes for cleaning from inside
- White, cream and woodgrain finishes
Delivery to Carlisle
Deliveries to Carlisle are booked once your order is in production. The charge is itemised on the quote and the delivery day is confirmed with you in advance. Postcode districts include CA1.
Getting a price
List every item on one schedule with sizes in millimetres, width first. Add the finish and options per line and we price each one.
Trade accounts are open to installers, builders, developers, landlords and property businesses. Apply online and your account terms are agreed when it is opened.
Measuring tip
Measure between the stone or brick reveals and from head to cill at several points. Sliding sashes depend on a square opening, so note any lean or out-of-square in the reveals on your schedule.
Carlisle is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Cumbria page for a summary.

Do you deliver uPVC sliding sash windows to Carlisle?
Yes. We deliver to sites and yards in Carlisle, and the delivery charge is shown on your quote before you order.
Can I collect instead of having uPVC sliding sash windows delivered to Carlisle?
Orders are delivered rather than collected. If collection would help on a particular job, ask and we will say whether it can be arranged.
Is there a minimum order for Carlisle?
You can order a single item. Delivery is priced per order, so combining jobs for Carlisle usually works out better.
Can you match the glazing bar pattern of existing windows?
Yes. Tell us the pattern for each sash, for example six over six or two over two, and whether you want bars that look applied or sit between the panes.
