uPVC sliding sash windows for Oban jobs
Sashes tilt in for cleaning, which matters on upper floors of flats and terraces where the outside of the glass cannot be reached from a ladder.
Sliding sash windows are made around the balances, so we size each window individually and choose the balance to suit the sash weight, including any acoustic or toughened glass you specify.
- Double glazed sealed units, with heritage spacer colours
- Run-through horns or plain sashes
- Spiral or constant-force balances sized to sash weight
- Twin sashes sliding vertically in a uPVC box frame
Delivery to Oban
Because Oban is outside our standard mainland routes, delivery is quoted separately for each order and confirmed before production starts. Postcode districts include PA34.
Getting a price
List every item on one schedule with sizes in millimetres, width first. Add the finish and options per line and we price each one.

Measuring tip
Measure between the stone or brick reveals and from head to cill at several points. Sliding sashes depend on a square opening, so note any lean or out-of-square in the reveals on your schedule.
Oban is in Scotland, so the building regulations for Scotland apply. See the Argyll and Bute page for a summary.
