Trade steel-look aluminium windows in Dumbarton

Steel-look aluminium windows for Dumbarton jobs

They are aluminium rather than steel, which keeps the weight down and allows a thermal break. Where a heritage specification calls for real steel, tell us and we will say whether we can quote it.

Matching French doors and fixed screens can be supplied on the same order so the sightlines line up across the elevation.

• Slim thermally broken aluminium profiles
• Side-hung, top-hung and fixed lights
• Narrow glazing bars in grid patterns
• Matching doors and screens available

Measuring tip

Send elevation drawings with your schedule if you want a specific glazing bar layout, so each pane size is agreed before manufacture.

Regulations for jobs in Dumbarton

In Scotland the Building (Scotland) Regulations and the Technical Handbooks apply. Replacing windows in a house does not normally need a building warrant, but the new windows must still meet the building standards, including the energy standards in Section 6 and the safety glazing standard in Section 4. Listed buildings and conservation areas have their own controls, so check with the local authority.
