Double glazed sealed units for Gosforth jobs
Sealed units are made to the exact glass size, so the measurement is the size of the unit itself. When replacing a misted unit, measure the old unit once the beads are off.
Glass in critical locations, such as doors, side panels and low-level glazing, must break safely, be robust or be protected; in practice that usually means toughened or laminated glass. Mark those units on your schedule.
- Made to size in common thicknesses such as 24mm and 28mm
- Aluminium or warm-edge spacer bars
- Manufactured to BS EN 1279
- Spacer colours to match frames
Delivery to Gosforth
We deliver to sites and yards in Gosforth as part of our mainland delivery service. Delivery is priced on the quote, so you know the full cost before you place the order. Postcode districts include NE3.
Getting a price
Send your sizes as a schedule: one line per item with width, height, quantity and any options. A spreadsheet, a PDF or a clear photo of a handwritten list all work.
Already trading? Apply for a trade account and quote your account on each order so the right pricing is applied.
Measuring tip
Measure the glass, not the frame: remove the beads and measure the existing unit, or measure the rebate and deduct the glazing clearance. Give width first, then height, and the overall unit thickness.
Gosforth is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Tyne and Wear page for a summary.
