Double glazed sealed units for Newtown jobs
Glass in critical locations, such as doors, side panels and low-level glazing, must break safely, be robust or be protected; in practice that usually means toughened or laminated glass. Mark those units on your schedule.
Sealed units are made to the exact glass size, so the measurement is the size of the unit itself. When replacing a misted unit, measure the old unit once the beads are off.
- Spacer colours to match frames
- Aluminium or warm-edge spacer bars
- Georgian bars between the panes
- Manufactured to BS EN 1279
Delivery to Newtown
We deliver to sites and yards in Newtown as part of our mainland delivery service. Delivery is priced on the quote, so you know the full cost before you place the order. Postcode districts include SY16.
Getting a price
Give us width by height in millimetres for each item, the quantity, and the finish. We check the schedule and come back with anything that needs clarifying.
Trade pricing is for businesses that buy for their own jobs or clients. Apply for an account online; it takes a few minutes.
Measuring tip
Measure the glass, not the frame: remove the beads and measure the existing unit, or measure the rebate and deduct the glazing clearance. Give width first, then height, and the overall unit thickness.
Newtown is in Wales, so the building regulations for Wales apply. See the Powys page for a summary.
