Double glazed sealed units for Aberdare jobs
Toughened panes in a unit carry a permanent BS EN 12150 mark. Ask if you need units labelled by window number so the installer can match each unit to its frame.
Glass in critical locations, such as doors, side panels and low-level glazing, must break safely, be robust or be protected; in practice that usually means toughened or laminated glass. Mark those units on your schedule.
- Low-E coated inner pane and argon gas fill
- Made to size in common thicknesses such as 24mm and 28mm
- Aluminium or warm-edge spacer bars
- Georgian bars between the panes
Delivery to Aberdare
Deliveries to Aberdare are booked once your order is in production. The charge is itemised on the quote and the delivery day is confirmed with you in advance. Postcode districts include CF44.
Getting a price
Give us width by height in millimetres for each item, the quantity, and the finish. We check the schedule and come back with anything that needs clarifying.
Open a trade account to order at trade prices. We ask for your business details and how you expect to order, and agree terms when the account is set up.
Measuring tip
Measure the glass, not the frame: remove the beads and measure the existing unit, or measure the rebate and deduct the glazing clearance. Give width first, then height, and the overall unit thickness.
Aberdare is in Wales, so the building regulations for Wales apply. See the Mid Glamorgan page for a summary.
