Ordering double glazed sealed units for jobs in Leicestershire
Sealed units are made to the exact glass size, so the measurement is the size of the unit itself. When replacing a misted unit, measure the old unit once the beads are off.
Toughened panes in a unit carry a permanent BS EN 12150 mark. Ask if you need units labelled by window number so the installer can match each unit to its frame.

Delivery across Leicestershire
Deliveries to Leicestershire are booked once your order is in production. The charge is itemised on the quote and the delivery day is confirmed with you in advance.
Building regulations in England
Under Approved Document K, glazing in critical locations (doors, and side panels within 300mm of a door, up to 1500mm above floor level; other glazing below 800mm) must break safely, be robust or in small panes, or be permanently protected. Toughened and laminated safety glass are classified to BS EN 12600. Replacing only the glass in an existing frame is generally treated as a repair rather than notifiable work.
Every order is confirmed in writing first. The acknowledgement lists each item exactly as it will be made, so any mistake in a size or handing can be caught before manufacture.
