Double glazed sealed units for Catford jobs
Sealed units are made to the exact glass size, so the measurement is the size of the unit itself. When replacing a misted unit, measure the old unit once the beads are off.
Toughened panes in a unit carry a permanent BS EN 12150 mark. Ask if you need units labelled by window number so the installer can match each unit to its frame.
- Georgian bars between the panes
- Aluminium or warm-edge spacer bars
- Low-E coated inner pane and argon gas fill
- Made to size in common thicknesses such as 24mm and 28mm

There is no minimum number of items, but small orders may carry a delivery charge that makes it worth grouping jobs together.
Can I collect instead of having double glazed sealed units delivered to Catford?
Orders are delivered rather than collected. If collection would help on a particular job, ask and we will say whether it can be arranged.
Why is my sealed unit misted?
The edge seal has failed and moisture has got between the panes. The unit needs replacing; the frame can usually stay.
