Laminated and acoustic glass for Newry jobs
An acoustic interlayer damps sound better than standard laminated glass of the same thickness. In a sealed unit, combining panes of different thicknesses helps further.
Thicker laminates slow down a break-in attempt. For security specifications, tell us the requirement and we will suggest a makeup; ratings belong to tested products.
- PVB and acoustic PVB interlayers
- Laminated to BS EN ISO 12543 and BS EN 14449
- Common makeups such as 6.4mm and 6.8mm
- Safety classifications to BS EN 12600

Do I need a trade account to order laminated and acoustic glass for a job in Newry?
Yes, trade prices are for account holders. Applying is quick, and you can send your schedule for pricing while the account is set up.
Does acoustic glass really reduce noise?
An acoustic interlayer reduces noise more than standard laminated glass of the same thickness. The overall result also depends on the frame and how the window is fitted.
