Regulations for jobs in North Shields
Replacement rooflights and roof lanterns in England should meet a U-value of 2.2 W/m²K under Approved Document L. A lantern in a new extension is covered by the extension's own building regulations approval. Replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid roof usually takes the conservatory out of the exemption, so building control approval is normally needed.

Flat rooflights in North Shields
Do I need a trade account to order flat rooflights for a job in North Shields?
Trade pricing is for business customers with an account. You can apply online and request a quote at the same time.
Can I collect instead of having flat rooflights delivered to North Shields?
Orders are delivered rather than collected. If collection would help on a particular job, ask and we will say whether it can be arranged.
Do you deliver flat rooflights to North Shields?
Yes, North Shields is within our delivery area. The charge and the date are confirmed when you order.
Why does a flat rooflight need a fall?
So rainwater runs off instead of sitting on the glass. The upstand or the unit provides the slope.
