Flat rooflights for Banbury jobs

Walk-on and opening rooflights are different systems. If you need either, say so when you request a quote.

A flat rooflight should not be laid dead flat. Water needs to run off, so the upstand is built to a slight fall or the unit has one built in.

• Double or triple glazed
• Built-in fall or set on a sloped kerb for drainage
• Made to your upstand size
• Square and rectangular sizes

Regulations for jobs in Banbury

Replacement rooflights and roof lanterns in England should meet a U-value of 2.2 W/m²K under Approved Document L. A lantern in a new extension is covered by the extension's own building regulations approval. Replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid roof usually takes the conservatory out of the exemption, so building control approval is normally needed.
