Flat rooflights for Nelson jobs
A flat rooflight should not be laid dead flat. Water needs to run off, so the upstand is built to a slight fall or the unit has one built in.
Walk-on and opening rooflights are different systems. If you need either, say so when you request a quote.
- Square and rectangular sizes
- Solar-control glass options
- Made to your upstand size
- Built-in fall or set on a sloped kerb for drainage

Measuring tip
Flat rooflights need a fall so water runs off. Build the upstand to a slight slope or use a unit with a built-in fall, and give us the upstand size.
Nelson is in England, so the building regulations for England apply. See the Lancashire page for a summary.

Flat rooflights in Nelson
Is there a minimum order for Nelson?
You can order a single item. Delivery is priced per order, so combining jobs for Nelson usually works out better.
Can I collect instead of having flat rooflights delivered to Nelson?
Orders are delivered rather than collected. If collection would help on a particular job, ask and we will say whether it can be arranged.
Do you deliver flat rooflights to Nelson?
Yes. We deliver to sites and yards in Nelson, and the delivery charge is shown on your quote before you order.
Why does a flat rooflight need a fall?
So rainwater runs off instead of sitting on the glass. The upstand or the unit provides the slope.
