Building regulations in England
Replacement rooflights and roof lanterns in England should meet a U-value of 2.2 W/m²K under Approved Document L. A lantern in a new extension is covered by the extension's own building regulations approval. Replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid roof usually takes the conservatory out of the exemption, so building control approval is normally needed.
Every order is confirmed in writing first. The acknowledgement lists each item exactly as it will be made, so any mistake in a size or handing can be caught before manufacture.

The rules for England apply. You can specify flat rooflights to suit, and the performance values are stated on your quote. Your installer or designer remains responsible for compliance and any notification.
How do I get trade prices for Herefordshire?
Send your schedule through the quote form or by email, and apply for a trade account if you do not already have one.
Can I walk on a flat rooflight?
Only if it is a walk-on unit designed for it. Tell us if you need one.
Why does a flat rooflight need a fall?
So rainwater runs off instead of sitting on the glass. The upstand or the unit provides the slope.
