Flat rooflights for Saltash jobs
A flat rooflight should not be laid dead flat. Water needs to run off, so the upstand is built to a slight fall or the unit has one built in.
Walk-on and opening rooflights are different systems. If you need either, say so when you request a quote.
- Solar-control glass options
- Minimal or hidden aluminium frame
- Built-in fall or set on a sloped kerb for drainage
- Square and rectangular sizes

Regulations for jobs in Saltash
Replacement rooflights and roof lanterns in England should meet a U-value of 2.2 W/m²K under Approved Document L. A lantern in a new extension is covered by the extension's own building regulations approval. Replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid roof usually takes the conservatory out of the exemption, so building control approval is normally needed.

Flat rooflights in Saltash
Do you deliver flat rooflights to Saltash?
Yes. We deliver to sites and yards in Saltash, and the delivery charge is shown on your quote before you order.
Can I collect instead of having flat rooflights delivered to Saltash?
Orders are delivered rather than collected. If collection would help on a particular job, ask and we will say whether it can be arranged.
Do I need a trade account to order flat rooflights for a job in Saltash?
Trade pricing is for business customers with an account. You can apply online and request a quote at the same time.
Why does a flat rooflight need a fall?
So rainwater runs off instead of sitting on the glass. The upstand or the unit provides the slope.
