Building regulations in Wales
Commercial glazing in Wales is controlled as part of the wider project under the Building Regulations as they apply in Wales, including safety glazing, access and fire safety requirements. A new or altered shopfront usually needs planning permission.
Before anything goes into production you get a written order acknowledgement with sizes, finishes and handing for every item. Check it carefully, because made-to-measure items cannot be returned if the sizes were wrong.
