Building regulations in Scotland
Commercial glazing in Scotland is usually part of a project that needs a building warrant, covering safety glazing, access and fire safety. New or altered shopfronts usually need planning permission.
Before anything goes into production you get a written order acknowledgement with sizes, finishes and handing for every item. Check it carefully, because made-to-measure items cannot be returned if the sizes were wrong.
