Trade conservatory roofs in the City and County of Bristol

Ordering conservatory roofs for jobs in the City and County of Bristol

In England and Wales, replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid tiled roof usually means the conservatory is no longer exempt from building regulations, so approval from building control is normally needed.

Tiled roofs often include glazed panels to keep some daylight. Tell us how many you want when you request a quote.

Building regulations in England

Replacement rooflights and roof lanterns in England should meet a U-value of 2.2 W/m²K under Approved Document L. A lantern in a new extension is covered by the extension's own building regulations approval. Replacing a glazed or polycarbonate conservatory roof with a solid roof usually takes the conservatory out of the exemption, so building control approval is normally needed.

Before anything goes into production you get a written order acknowledgement with sizes, finishes and handing for every item. Check it carefully, because made-to-measure items cannot be returned if the sizes were wrong.
